Issuance of a Permanent License to Practice

This service aims to issue an official document authorizing its holder to practice a profession. The license is valid for two years in the private and semi-government sectors. In the government sector, the license is renewed annually automatically for up to four years. At the end of the fourth year, the beneficiary must submit a renewal request, provided the healthcare practitioner has fulfilled the requirements of continuous professional development. The permanent license to practice reflects the Health Professions Department’s recognition of the healthcare practitioner’s competence and ability to provide safe and effective health services in the country.
