2. A copy of the Qatari ID card.

3. National Service Certificate (for males only).

4. Study visa application form (F1) for studies in the USA.

5. Language proficiency certificate (if the study was not in the applicant’s native language).

6. Transcripts of transferred credits, if applicable, for credits counted towards the degree to be equated.

7. Authorization letter for transferred credits.

8. Pre-approval for transferred credits.

9. Non-employment certificate from the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (for non-employees).

10. Employer’s letter for study purposes (for employees).

11. The applicant’s previous qualifications and their equivalency letter in Qatar (if obtained abroad), or attestation by the University Degree Equivalency Department if issued by an accredited institution in Qatar.

12. High school certificate and its equivalency letter if it is non-Qatari or follows a non-Qatari curriculum.

13. Any additional documents deemed necessary by the department.

1. The applicant must be a Qatari citizen.

2. The equivalency request must come from a governmental or semi-governmental employer (for employees) or be accompanied by a non-employment certificate from the Civil Service Bureau.

3. The degree to be equated must fall under the jurisdiction of the University Degree Equivalency Committee and Department; the department does not review school (pre-university) certificates, military or security certificates, training courses regardless of duration, or professional certificates except for professional master’s degrees/executive doctorates (e.g., DBA).

4. All submitted documents must be valid.
