Relocating a Nursery

This service aims to service allows private nurseries to request approval for relocating their operations to a new building.

Incomplete Digital

At the time of application:

1. Plans for the proposed building to relocate the nursery, including:

- General site plan indicating the total land area.

- Ground floor plan.

- First floor plan and basement plan (if applicable).

2. Inspection report for the proposed building to relocate the nursery, issued by an accredited engineering consultancy office approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

During the process:

1. Preliminary approval from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for the proposed building to relocate the nursery.

2. Certified lease agreement for the new building, or a certified ownership deed in the name of the license holder, one of the partners (if any), or the nursery name.

3. Kahramaa (electricity and water) bill for the new building.

4. Traffic license with the new building address for the nursery.

5. Civil defense certificate with the new building address for the nursery.

6. Approval document for the installation of surveillance cameras in the new building from the Security Systems Administration at the Ministry of Interior.

7. Trade license with the new building address for the nursery.

8. First aid unit license with the new building address for the nursery.

1. Obtain approval from the Nurseries Department for relocating the nursery building before obtaining a license from the Nurseries Department.

2. The request must be submitted at least six months before the nursery license expires.
