Inspection of Imported Food

This service aims to ensure the suitability of imported food for human consumption in accordance with applicable laws, specifications, and technical regulations. Food shipments are inspected at entry points, and laboratory analyses may be conducted for certain cases. The service can be accessed after the customs broker organizes an import customs declaration through the Qatar Single Window for Customs Clearance, "Al Nadeeb."

1. Health certificate from official authorities or COC certificate from an accredited body.

2. Halal certificate or halal slaughter certificate from non-Islamic countries from accredited bodies (if importing meat or its products or if the product contains animal-derived components).

3. Invoice of imported food products.

4. Packing list, if available.

5. Copy of the customs declaration.

1. The applicant must organize an import customs declaration for the shipment.

2. The importing company and its products must be registered in the 'Wathiq' system.

3. The products must be registered and comply with the requirements and guidelines published on the Ministry of Public Health website and the "Wathiq" system, including Annex (3) of the lists of technical regulations and food specifications, in addition to any circulars and other guidelines.
