Issuance of a Temporary License to Practice

This service aims to issue a temporary license to practice, which is an official document (non-mandatory) issued only once, valid for six months and non-renewable. It allows the practitioner to practice after obtaining the preliminary evaluation certificate until all requirements for the permanent practice license are met.

1. Front and back copies of the Qatari ID card (if available). If the Qatari residence permit is not available, the following must be provided:

- Medical examination report from the practitioner's home country.

- Certificate of good conduct from the practitioner's home country (original or officially issued by the competent authority in the practitioner's home country).

2. Copy of the passport.

3. Commitment letter designated for healthcare practitioners.

4. Commitment letter designated for health facilities.

1. The healthcare practitioner must pass the preliminary evaluation stage.

2. The passport must be valid.

3. The healthcare practitioner must commit to completing the residence permit issuance process during the temporary license period (6 months).

4. The title on the Qatari ID card must match the title that will be issued on the license.

5. The healthcare practitioner must be under the sponsorship of the employer (if the residence permit is work-related and not family-related). Professional practice outside the specified scope is prohibited.

6. The medical examination report must be valid for six months and certified by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

7. The certificate of good conduct must be certified by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
