This service aims to issue surgical privileges to a licensed dental surgeon, allowing them to obtain approval to perform advanced surgical procedures. These procedures are part of the indicators monitored by the Health Professions Department to ensure the competence and safety of practitioners.

Digital

1. Official request letter for privileges from the workplace, signed and stamped by the medical director.

2. Dental privileges form in the specialty field.

3. Personal declaration form.

4. Updated CV.

5. Copy of the bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.

6. Copy of the specialty certificate or its equivalent (if available).

7. Copies of new certificates or training courses completed by the dentist related to the requested privilege (if available).

8. A list of cases handled to obtain dental and surgical privileges.

9. Copy of the medical license or preliminary evaluation certificate.

10. Two images of treated cases on a CD or USB.

11. Case log (if requested).

1. The facility must be equipped to handle various types of complications that may arise from privileged procedures.

2. The number of cases performed annually by the doctor must be sufficient to maintain their eligibility to continue performing such cases.

3. The dental and surgical privileges form must be signed and stamped by the applicant and the medical director of the facility.

4. The medical license or preliminary evaluation certificate must be valid.
