The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology invites you to share your feedback on the draft “Internet of Things Adoption Policy”. 

The policy builds on existing national efforts to advance the widespread, secure, and sustainable deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies across all sectors of the economy. Its objectives include accelerating IoT adoption at scale, enabling public and private sector integration, and supporting sector-specific innovation through IoT solutions.  

The policy is particularly focused on catalyzing change in high-impact sectors such as energy, transportation, healthcare, retail, agriculture, and manufacturing. It also emphasizes the creation of an enabling ecosystem through robust infrastructure, national standards, research and innovation, cybersecurity measures, and adaptive governance. 

In line with the Ministry’s commitment to engaging all relevant stakeholders, the public is invited to submit feedback and suggestions in accordance with the consultation guidelines attached to help refine the policy and ensure it supports Qatar’s digital transformation and future aspirations.
