Under the leadership of His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment convened its second meeting of the year at the Amiri Diwan. The meeting was held with the participation of esteemed dignitaries, including HH The Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, an Executive Member of the Council, and other distinguished members.

During the meeting, the Council conducted a comprehensive review of the decisions and recommendations made in the previous session and examined the project follow-up report. Additionally, the Council engaged in discussions concerning the country's economic priorities and made appropriate decisions.

Moreover, the Council received informative presentations on various sectors. The session included briefings on agriculture, livestock, fish production, and the telecommunications and information technology sector. Furthermore, updates were provided on the approvals of licensing requirements and commercial practices, the developments within the Qatar Financial Centre, and the progress made by QatarEnergy and Qatar Investment Authority.

Following the agenda, the Council deliberated on the listed topics and took necessary decisions accordingly. This meeting served as a platform for constructive dialogue and effective decision-making to advance Qatar's economic growth and development.
