Doha, November 03 (QNA) - HE President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau and Secretary General of the National Planning Council Dr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa revealed that the satisfaction rate with government services has increased from 58 percent to 86 percent.
In his remarks during the panel on "Strengthening Social Dialogue and Participatory Governance," at the "Doha Solutions Platform for Social Development," held on Monday as part of the Second World Summit for Social Development, hosted by the State of Qatar from Nov. 4-6, His Excellency said that the State of Qatar affirms its commitment to raising the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries of government services to more than 90 percent in the coming period.
His Excellency pointed out that these ambitions come within a clear approach followed by Qatar based on setting goals, measuring them and monitoring them continuously to ensure the quality of performance and improve the government experience.
In this context, His Excellency highlighted the launch of the "Sharek" platform, a collaborative platform that enables beneficiaries to evaluate government services and the individuals providing them, thereby enhancing transparency and accountability and encouraging professional excellence. The platform is one of the outcomes of the updates made to the human resources law and the civil service law, which regulate the provision of public services by civil servants in accordance with best international practices.
His Excellency noted that the development of these initiatives followed extensive consultations that included the public and private sectors, civil society and academic institutions, within the framework of the state's policy aimed at enhancing community participation in developing services and improving government performance.
His Excellency stressed that continuous dialogue between different sectors represents a fundamental pillar in the development process, based on a firm conviction that "dialogue is the solution," which is the principle adopted by the State of Qatar in its endeavor to find sustainable collective solutions to development challenges.
His Excellency indicated that these efforts are part of Qatar National Vision 2030, which is based on four main pillars: human development, social development, economic development, and environmental development.
His Excellency emphasized that the State of Qatar is committed to enhancing the efficiency of the government sector and developing public services to meet the aspirations of citizens and residents, and embodies its firm commitment to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development. (QNA )
