Today, the Education City Stadium in Al-Rayyan city, Qatar witnessed a large number of worshipers in attendance for the blessed Eid Al-Adha prayer.

In cooperation with the Al-Minaretein center - Education City Mosque, adults and children from all over Qatar attended the prayer, which is the second prayer to be held in the famous World Cup stadium.

The stadium entered history last April by being the first World Cup stadium to be used for Eid prayers, as about 35,000 people of all ages gathered after dawn to perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer.

In light of the initiative’s success and its connection with the plans for the legacy of the Qatar World Cup 2022, the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development announced that Education City Stadium has been adopted as a permanent prayer space for Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers, due to its large capacity and the levels of comfort and safety it provides to worshipers and visitors.
