Consumer Satisfaction Survey 2022 Results Presented by CRA

The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has recently released its comprehensive Consumer Satisfaction Survey 2022 outcomes. The survey aims to gauge the level of satisfaction among Qatar residents regarding their telecom service providers, namely Ooredoo Qatar and Vodafone Qatar.

Over 2,500 participated in the survey using the Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) method. Respondents were asked to complete a questionnaire available in Arabic and English.

According to the findings, consumer satisfaction with telecom services in Qatar remains high, with 79% of respondents expressing satisfaction with telecom providers.

Amel Salem Al Hanawi, the Director of the Consumer Affairs Department at CRA, expressed satisfaction with the survey's overall results, stating, "We are committed to ensuring that competition benefits consumers by providing access to advanced and high-level telecom services. This survey is a transparent means for CRA to assess the quality and efficiency of consumer services. We will utilize these findings to improve the services available to consumers in Qatar."

The study incorporated a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including focus group discussions and a nationwide survey, to assess consumer satisfaction with telecom services in Qatar.
