Fire Station Opens "The Free Spirits of Wild Horses" Exhibition

The "Artist-in-Residence" program, run by the Fire Station in Doha, is hosting an exhibition entitled "The Free Spirits of Wild Horses," by Panamanian artist Eduardo Navarro, in partnership with the Embassy of Panama.

The exhibition is a unique opportunity to showcase Navarro's iconic and rebellious work, featuring paintings that showcase his unique mixed-media approach and style to express his dynamic energy on canvas in a manner that challenges the limitations of traditional tool painting.

Commenting on this distinguished exhibition, the Director of the Fire Museum, Khalifa Ahmed Al-Obaidly, said in press statements: "The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for the people and citizens of the State of Qatar to see the works of one of the most famous artists of Panama, in a space dedicated to promoting contemporary art."

He explained that his company was honored to support the artistic community in Qatar and was pleased to provide a platform for international artists to showcase their talents in a manner that is accessible to the masses.

For his part, Musa Asfat, Ambassador of Panama to Qatar, praised the collaboration with Qatar Museums to highlight the work of his country's creative artists and said: "The Free Spirit of Wild Horses exhibition represents the deep connection between Eduardo and horses throughout his life, but also embodies the same passion he shares with identity culture of the State of Qatar."

For his part, Panamanian artist Navarro said, "It gives me great pleasure to present 'The Free Spirit of Wild Horses' at Doha Fire Station, where horses embody a vibrant synergy that reflects the strong cultural ties between Qatar and Latin America."
