The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) has unveiled an exciting new initiative in partnership with Microsoft: the Digital Center for Youth. This innovative space aims to allow students and young people to hone their digital skills and explore new approaches to thinking and working.

The Deputy CEO of Qatar Museums and Director of NMoQ, Sheikha Amna bint Abdulaziz Al-Thani, expressed great enthusiasm about opening the Digital Center for Youth, which marks a pioneering milestone for Qatar Museums.

The co-innovation partnership with Microsoft has resulted in establishing this unique facility, exemplifying the long-standing dedication of both organizations to engage with communities and foster interdisciplinary and creative learning opportunities.

The launch of the Digital Center for Youth follows the introduction of NMoQ Explorer, a customized solution designed to replicate the museum's immersive and interactive approach. This user-friendly platform encourages engagement and participation with the museum's offerings beyond geographical limitations.

The General Manager of Microsoft Qatar, Lana Khalaf, emphasized the company's recognition of the potential for groundbreaking innovations originating from students. Microsoft is proud to join NMoQ in celebrating the opening of the Digital Center, as it aligns with its commitment to transforming the museum's vision into a captivating reality. This innovative and engaging platform introduces aspiring young minds to AI, IoT, and gaming technologies. NMoQ organizes free creative workshops and field trips to complement the Digital Center for Youth launch throughout the summer, catering to children aged 8-16. These activities will run from June to August, allowing young participants to explore their creative potential.
